Prednášajúci:
• Lectures replaced by guided self-study followed by consultation sessions, with additional
explanations of selected concepts as needed.
• Practical understanding of the topics assessed during practical classes using RStudio
as a powerful computational tool.
• Two midterm tests during the semester: Week 6 (20 points), Week 11 (20 points)
• A minimum of 21 points out of 40 points required to receive course credit.
• The examination consists of three components, each worth 20 points:
1. Weekly homework assignments: Theoretical task (prepare a clear and concise
summary of the assigned chapter) + Practical task (solve an assigned problem
from the supplementary exercises).
2. Course assignment: perform a statistical analysis of suitably selected data using
correlation and regression analysis, and provide appropriate graphical and verbal
interpretations.
3. Theory test.
• A minimum of 31 out of 60 points required to pass the examination.
• Attendance at practical classes is compulsory.
• Students unable to attend must submit an apology by email.
• A maximum of three absences permitted.
